Located in the heart of Saint Johnsbury's business district, the three octagonal buildings that comprise Windhorse Commons are the Octagon House, the Carriage House, and the Annex Building. Built in 1854, they are listed with the National Register of Historic Places. This is the largest octagonal complex ever constructed in the United States. Windhorse Development, Inc. has restored this unique and remarkable property which sits on 1.3 acres of land. At the center of the property lies a perennial garden with a fountain and benches for the public to enjoy. This professional office and retail complex has ample parking spaces for staff and visitors. Tenants at Windhorse Commons have built-in high speed internet connection; office to office, building to building computer networking, and a Centrex telephone system.
